2021 LANCING BUSINESS PARK PROJECTS
LBP BIG CLEAN
This year's LBP Big Clean was delivered on on Sunday 9th January 2022, which was slightly later than normal to coincide with the implementation of the LBP Community Highway Scheme. This measure ensured businesses only needed to clear the business park of vehicles for just one day and helped provide a clean surface for the line painters to work.
We were so luck with the weather all day which really helped, especially considering how much rain fell on the Saturday!
LBP would like to thank businesses for supporting these works by clearing the park of as many vehicles as possible, to enable a deep clean of all the public highways across the business park. LBP would also like to thank Mike Nea of CJS Landscapes Ltd for his hard work on the day, along with the Adur & Worthing Council Services Team pictured below, for their hard work and patience whilst we co-ordinated efforts with the LBP Community Highway Scheme works.
Pictured below are Gary, Wayne and Chris from AWCS
LBP were aware that delivering two major projects for the park on the same day would be far from easy and therefore were very grateful for the extra support from two of Fizz Creations' Apprentices. Alex Mahoney and Thomas Newbold (pictured right) gave up their spare time to help record both projects. LBP would like to thank Alex and Thomas for their hard work and wish them well with their careers. Both are a true credit to Fizz!

LBP are pleased to announce that West Sussex County Council have concluded the public consultation for the LBP Community Highway Scheme and the scheme has now been approved for implementation on:

The public consultation raised concern over access visibility due to the addition of parking directly outside Parklands Business Centre. West Sussex Highways has addressed this concern by amending the scheme to remove the 2 car parking spaces nearest to the Parklands Business Centre access.
LBP has now met with West Sussex Highways to discuss the implementation, which aims to install all the required road markings on Sunday 9th January and the signage installation during the following week. West Sussex Highways has also considered business concerns regarding the two issues below and aims to include additional works on Sunday 9th January:
On Sunday 9th January 2022, LBP will also be undertaking the annual LBP Big Clean and ask that businesses please ensure all vehicles are removed from the business park roads, to enable these projects to be implemented effectively. Thank you.
