Highways Agency - A27 Lancing to Shoreham Drainage Improvements

10 August 2012 11:33 AM | Tracie Davey
Please click here to download newsletter detailing forthcoming work on the A27.

It is due to start from 17 September to 20 December, and involves improving the drainage system between Dankton Lane and the Adur Viaduct in Lancing, West Sussex.

We will be repairing defective pipes as well as installing new drainage.  The flooding has contributed to the deterioration of the road surface in some areas, and so drainage improvements will mitigate this.  At the same time, we will also carry out small areas of resurfacing west of Manor Road Roundabout to Busticle Lane, and some technical repairs that are needed.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by these improvements, and will be working both during the daytime and overnight to complete them as quickly as possible.

We would appreciate it if you are able to share this information both within your organisation and with customers if possible.  Hard copies of the newsletter are available through replying to this email address to confirm how many you would like, and the address for them to be sent to.

The programme of works is complex and subject to change, and so we would like to provide email updates to residents and businesses throughout the works to ensure that you have clear information on what will happen when.  This will also give details of what arrangements we are making to ensure that access is maintained for you, and give the contact numbers for our staff on site to help with any queries that you have relating to access.

If you would like to receive this information, please reply to this email and we will add your email address to our distribution list for updates.

In addition, if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Care Line on 0845 6000414, or write to us at either area4@bbmmjv.com or Highways Agency, c/o Balfour Beatty Mott MacDonald, 10 Kings Hill Avenue, Kings Hill, Kent, ME19 4AR.
