To update you on progress with finding a solution for the inadequate ID Fan noise attenuation to date;
The original attenuators were supplied to Enviropower by Talbotts, who have now gone into administration, as part of the bag filter supply which was contracted to Filter Designs Ltd.
Filter designs Ltd purchased the attenuators from Wakefield Acoustics ltd who we have now been communicating with.
Wakefield Designs initially put forward a proposal to suplement the attenuation provided by the existing attenuators, this proved impractical due to space available.
Based on the figures provided by Bruce Reynolds Wakefileds have now come up with an outline proposal that appears acceptable, they now need to carryout their own survey to ensure the proposed solution is correct.
The survey is booked for Wakefields earliest available date which is the night of Tuesday 15th September 2009, for commercial reasons it is essential we allow Wakefields to carryout the survey before placing the order for the equipment.
The outline proposal which Wakefields have supplied shows a lead time of 6 to 8 weeks, this is their standard terms and they have informed us they can improve on this at time of order placement.
