AFTERNOON TEA AND CRICKET

Afternoon Tea and Cricket

Why not mix some business with pleasure?

We have been given the opportunity of holding our next networking event at the Sussex County Cricket Club and have been offered the use of one of their corporate marquees for the afternoon of 16th September.

The cricket is the First day of the LV division 1 championship game versus Yorkshire, which could be a crucial game as the season comes to an end.

For those of you with a keen interest in the cricket we have the marquee from 12.00pm giving plenty of time to take in the game.

For any one else we suggest an arrival of 3.30pm - 4.00pm to watch the last 2 hours of play and to sample the hospitality with an afternoon tea.

Sussex CCC want to raise awareness of what they have to offer and obviously attempt to interest future supporters as well as demonstrate the quality of their in house catering.

We will be looking at holding a brief update on the BID projects at the end of play between 6 – 7pm.

After the success of the previous meetings which have been more business based it has been suggested to try a more social style of event. We have again found sponsors to cover the costs and apart from a paying Bar which will be available to those that fancy a stronger beverage no cost is involved.

Plenty of time will be available to mix with other business colleagues so bring along your business cards. We may even manage to get a player or two to come over at the end of the game to mingle for a while.

I am looking at the possibility of arranging a bus/coach to take us to Hove if we have sufficient interest. This would leave Lancing Business Park at around 3.00pm and leave the ground at 7.00pm to return around 7.30ish.

In order for this event to take place it is based on getting sufficient interest so please let me know if you would like to attend the above event indicating numbers, when you would like to arrive at the ground and if you would be interested in a bus if I can arrange one.

Many thanks

Mike
